McCall Sod Farm was established in 1967 by Howell McCall and originally located along Highway 231, approximately six miles north of Panama City, Florida. In 1971, the 235-acre centipede sod farm was acquired by three local businessmen.
In 1978, the farm relocated to its current site in the Southport community, just north of Panama City. Today, McCall Sod Farm spans approximately 1,300 acres along portions of Kingswood Road and Edwards Road. We proudly offer a diverse selection of high-quality sod varieties, including Centipede, TIFTUF™ Bermuda, Tifway 419 Bermuda, Palmetto St. Augustine, Raleigh St. Augustine, CitraZoy Zoysia, El Toro Zoysia, Empire Zoysia, Geo Zoysia, as well as Argentine and Pensacola Bahia. Additionally, topsoil is available for purchase.
